“ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH YOUR LIFE?”

“POST OPERATIVE CARE”

COLOSSIANS 2:13-15

Colossians 2:13-15 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

1.   You Must Realize the Seriousness of the Post Operative Care

Do you realize what condition you were in before Jesus found you, you were dead in sin and without Christ we are dead.

Ephesians 2:1-5

Ephesians 2:11-13

This was our life before Christ and before major surgery.

Without Christ there is no life. It is very important what we do after surgery.

It should affect your lifestyle-exercise

It should affect your diet- what you eat

It should affect your thought life- what you think on

It should affect every aspect of your being

Colossians 2:13 “He has made alive”

Colossians 2:12- “buried with Him, risen with Him”

Colossians 2:13 “… having forgiven you all trespasses”

Your new life has given you forgiveness, you have been forgiven, that is past tense.

Colossians 3:1-3

We must turn our attention upward and outward not inward.

Colossians 2:14 “Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”

We are forgiven, we are free.

“handwriting of requirements”- the law

Ephesians 2:15 “Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.”

Galatians 3:10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

Galatians 3:19-22

vs.14 “having nailed it to the cross.”

Colossians 2:15 “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

God defeated the enemy, He won, and because He won, we win too.

Ephesians 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

1 Timothy 4:8 “For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.”
